The Project Represents a Profound Canadian Contribution to Global Decarbonization

Calgary, May 31, 2024 – Energy Connections Canada (ECC), the association of Canada’s pipeline owners and supporting industries, congratulates TC Energy on its completion of the Coastal GasLink pipeline. Mechanical completion was achieved in October 2023. Gas deliveries await the completion of Liquified Natural Gas (LNG) export facilities in 2024. Coastal GasLink represents the first direct pipeline for LNG exports from Canada; a true nation-building project.

ECC Chair Ziad Saad notes, “Coastal GasLink has brought remarkable benefits for its partner communities. We congratulate TC Energy, its contractors and its communities for the completion of Coastal GasLink.”
